The Panners Mate
The Panners Mate™ is a compact, flat-pack gold concentrating system built for Australian prospecting. Designed to set up easily in a regular plastic tub, it provides a stable, low-water processing setup wherever your adventures take you.
Using a simple rotate-and-sieve action, the Panners Mate™ breaks down clay, removes excess material and quickly reduces your paydirt, all while using only a small amount of water. Lightweight, durable panels assemble in minutes and pack down flat for easy transport in a backpack, ute, caravan or 4WD.
Now available with an Australian-made heavy-duty canvas carry bag, the Panners Mate™ is even easier to store, protect and transport to remote prospecting locations. The rugged carry bag keeps all components together and ready for your next trip.

The Panners Mate gold concentrator is designed to fit standard 15 inch ( approx 38cm ) Gold Pans in its cradle
Compatible and commonly used pans are Minelab 15 inch Pro-Gold Pan, XP 15 inch pan, Garrett Super Sluice and most generic 15 inch budget plastic gold pans. NOTE – Gold Pan available separately in store if required.
1. Fill The Panners Mate
With The Panners Mate submerged in a bucket or tub, using a sieve add your paydirt
2. Lower the Arm
Move the arm down into your paydirt
3. Rotate Anti-Clockwise
Rotate for 12 turns to condense the paydirt in your pan (20 turns for clay soil
4. Rotate Clockwise
Go back the other direction for 12 turns to throw waste material out of the pan
5. Repeat
Repeat the process to increase your paydirt concentrate
6. Process Paydirt Concentrate
Paydirt Concentrate can be panned at home, stored for later, or sent to a refiner
Water Level
The Panners Mate operates submerged in a tub or barrel of water.
