Refund policy

WARRANTY

At Mount Morgan Outdoors, we pride ourselves on customer service and a reasonable outcome for our customers. Our warranty policy is based on what is reasonable for the product and for our customers.

All items purchased through Mount Morgan Outdoors will include the manufacturers limited warranty or warranty to cover manufacturing faults. Faulty products must be sent back with receipt or proof of purchase and a written description of the fault. Any item found to be physically damaged by user neglect, either internally or externally, upgraded or modified, opened or attempted to be opened, used apart from the manufacturer specifications or intended use included, will void warranty.

Any items returned to us claiming to be faulty but found to be in fully functional working order will incur a fee to cover return postage. Items found to be faulty under the warranty will be either repaired or replaced at no extra cost.

Our warranty policy is based on what is reasonable, warranty claims will be assessed on a case by case basis to determine if it is reasonable to fix or replace a fault.

RETURNS

Returns and refunds will be carried out in accordance with Australian Consumer Law as determined by information from the ACCC (https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

Your item must be in the original packaging.

Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Items returned due to a manufacturing fault will be either repaired, replaced or refunded at no extra cost at the discretion of the retailer.

Change of mind returns are not accepted.

Any items returned to us claiming to be faulty but found to be in fully functional working order will incur a fee to cover return postage.

REFUNDS (WHEN APPLICABLE)

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). We do however reserve the right to repair the item instead of refund if the item is in condition to be repaired.

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
